Culture curriculum

🎭 My Cultural Curriculum Journey Before Class

●The schol culture learning before Class 11, the first thing that comes to my mind is all the cultural curriculum activities I took part in. These activities were more than just part of my timetable – they were moments where I learned about my roots, my traditions, and about myself.
●One of my favorite parts of the cultural curriculum was learning traditional songs and dances. At first, I used to feel shy while dancing in front of my classmates, but slowly I started to enjoy it. When we practiced together, it felt like we were celebrating our culture. I still remember the feeling of wearing our traditional dress and performing on stage. It made me proud of who I am and where I come from.

●We also learned Tibetan language and prayers as part of our curriculum. Sometimes it was difficult to memorize long verses, but with practice, I got better. These classes taught me discipline and respect for our spiritual traditions.

■Another thing I really enjoyed was art and craft classes related to culture. Drawing traditional patterns, making small handicrafts, and learning about our symbols made me more creative. It also helped me understand how much work and love goes into keeping our culture alive.

■We celebrated important festivals together in school. Losar, for example, was always special. We decorated our classrooms, sang songs, and shared food. These celebrations made me feel connected to my friends and teachers, like we were one big family.

◇Apart from that, we also had storytelling sessions where elders or teachers would share stories about history, religion, and great leaders. These stories were full of wisdom and gave me inspiration. They taught me values like kindness, courage, and honesty.

◇Looking back, I feel that the cultural curriculum shaped me as much as my academic subjects did. It made me more confident on stage, more respectful toward my heritage, and more connected to my community. Before Class 11, I was not just learning facts and formulas, I was learning how to be a better person.

●I am very thankful for these experiences. They gave me memories I will always carry with me, and they taught me lessons that no textbook can teach. Even now, as I move ahead in my studies, I try to keep these traditions and values alive in my heart.
